Overland Park, KS

Overland Park is located in the southwest section of the Kansas City area, 35 miles from Kansas City International Airport, and minutes from Kansas City, MO. Visitors can enjoy hundreds of urban attractions, while staying in an attractive, vibrant and safe suburban setting. Overland Park is known for its great restaurants and fine shopping, including Oak Park Mall, a popular two-level mall featuring Nordstrom and Dillard's as anchor stores. In a city known for its parks, Overland Park offers miles of walking and jogging paths including the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens with its woodland, native and water gardens.

Kansas City Area

Surprisingly sophisticated, Kansas City usually impresses the first-time visitor with its multitude of cultural attractions, beautiful neighborhoods, rich architecture and range of culinary choices. Landlocked in the center of the continent, Kansas Citians recognize that trendy people from both coasts may not have quite discovered the high quality of life that we enjoy here. There is a prevailing feeling that Kansas City is the best-kept secret in America. Many are just fine with that (thank you for not driving up housing costs). But most locals are eager to reveal the many amenities residing in the "heart of America," such as miles of tree-lined boulevards, livable neighborhoods, dozens of public fountains, as well as a model city-funded public arts program, a dynamic business community and professional sports.
