Lloyd Kaufman
Lloyd Kaufman, head of Troma Studios and director of such camp classics as The Toxic Avenger and The Class of Nuke 'Em High, will be appearing at the seventh annual Kansas International Film Festival, according to Benjamin Meade, president.
Kaufman is scheduled to appear on Sept. 18th, to introduce his latest film Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead. Kaufman will also be judging a film trailer competition for the Independent Filmmakers Coalition of Kansas City. Kaufman's appearance is due in part to the collaborative efforts of the KIFF and the IFC. Times for the screening have yet to be announced.
