Synopsis:  From writer-director Agim Sopi, AGNUS DEI is based upon a true story, an Oedipal tragedy, set in the Serbian-Albanian War. Peter is a child of forbidden love (“I was born from the ones that I should not”), is forced by his mother into the War (“I lived with those that I must not”), and, in an act of revenge, he unknowingly kills the man who is his father (“I killed the one that I should not”). AGNUS DEI was voted Best Feature at Cannes Van D’Or – European Film Festival – London.
